job_description.job_card.job_descriptionCapable of understanding client's internal systems, including CDMS, validation rules, Pharos, MMI's Able to support the development of cost analysis of all feature codes across all models Able to conceptualize and develop design BOMs and related costs to support Special Equipment cost estimates Data analytics & data mining to identify cost outliers and opportunities Relevant work experience of a minimum of 2 years, but more is fine (2 - 10 years) Self-motivated and energetic individual Ability to work independently Excellent teamwork and clear communication skills Be the center-of-excellence for all vehicle systems with regards to understanding product / manufacturing costs Understand the true cost of the component, as designed, assuming best-in-class sourcing and manufacturing Produce high quality, factual cost data for features by collaborating across cross functional peers Challenge Procurement on cost structures based on known feature margins, escalate to management on trends and data that needs review

Overview :
1. Work with Pricing Managers and to bring accurate cost data for feature margin calculations and price positioning.
2. Provide high quality material cost calculations to identify potential pricing and margin enhancement opportunities
Ideal Candidate / Required Experience :
- Prefer background in automotive industry
- Work Experience as (i) engineer, (ii) cost engineer or (iii) procurement agent .
