DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :

Operate and set up computerized numerical control machines :

\n

lasers CNC / EDM,

\n

CNC machining centers,

\n

CNC grinders.

\n

\n \n

Utilize measuring tools to inspect parts.

\n

Ability to accurately interpret blueprints and / or work in-process documents.

\n

The marginal duties and responsibilities (performed occasionally or at irregular intervals) for this position are : \n

Perform preventative maintenance on the equipment when required.

\n

R&D of new programming.

\n

Perform manual machining operations.

\n

Performing other tasks in the facility, as needed.

\n \n

QUALIFICATIONS :

\n

H.S. diploma or equivalent.

\n

Three (3) years + experience in machining, measuring equipment and CNC set-up and program editing.

\n

Good verbal and written communication skills.

\n

Problem-solving ability.

\n

Ability to accurately interpret blueprints and / or work in-process documents.

\n

Math and computer technology skills as well as the ability to read and use measurement tools.

\n

\n

LANGUAGE SKILLS :

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to communicate effectively with supervisor, engineers, and co-workers.

\n

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS :

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, and decimals.

\n

REASONING ABILITY :

Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

\n

PHYSICAL DEMANDS :
