TriHealth Heart and Vascular Institute (THVI) is seeking a BC / BE Cardiothoracic Surgeon to join our accomplished, innovative heart team in Cincinnati, Ohio!  We are looking to grow our current group of 5 cardiothoracic surgeons.  The ideal candidate would have excellent communication skills and a desire to promote a collegial approach to patient care.  Candidate should have interest in all aspects of general cardiac surgery, including coronary artery bypass grafting and valve repair / replacement and have interest and experience in mechanical circulatory support devices including ECMO and durable LVAD implantation.  New graduates are welcome to apply.

• Collaborative team with full practice support, including inpatient APPs and an experienced OR team.

• High-volume cardiac and thoracic surgery practice, with over 1,000 cases yearly.

• Practice focus on minimally invasive surgery with a dedicated DaVinci Robot.
• High volume surgical atrial fibrillation program with focus on concomitant surgical ablation procedures and a successful hybrid Convergent surgical program.
• Busy mechanical circulatory support program, with robust volume of ECMO cases and a growing shock program. Full spectrum of percutaneous and surgical support devices utilized.
• Experienced advanced heart failure team with over 3 years of durable LVAD implants in a non-transplant center.
• Outstanding 24 / 7 critical care intensivist and APP support.
• Successful TAVR program with focus on expanding TEER therapy. We enjoy an excellent partnership with our structural heart and interventional cardiology team.
• Collegial collaboration with cardiology sub-specialties, including comprehensive cardiac imaging, advanced heart failure, and electrophysiology.
• Progressive and innovative thoracic oncology program, with surgical priority on robotic lung resections
