Join AZAD as an Electronics Designer to provide support and direct hands-on assistance to the Telecommunications Network and Support Engineering organization. This position provides technical experience, assists project managers and other engineering personnel in implementing projects, supports field, maintenance, and operations crews, and other related design and engineering activities. This is a 2 years plus consultant position with high probability of long term and ongoing continued employment. This position is full time on-site or hybrid with onsite 1 - 3 days weekly in Vancouver, Washington. The hourly pay rate range for this position (which includes a health and welfare fringe benefit of $4.93) is $30.69 - $41.36 depending on related qualifications and experience, as well as composition of selected compensation package. The ideal candidate will possess the minimum qualifications : An associate's degree in electronic engineering technology or an equivalent degree / certification from a technical institute / equivalent is preferred. 6 years of experience is required with a related associate's degree / technical degree or certification. 8 years of experience is required without a degree or applicable associate's degree. Experience should include knowledge and experience in a technical / engineering environment with increasingly more responsibility. 2 years of experience with infrastructure required to meet the varying requirements for a circuit's class of service. 2 years of experience with telecommunications backbone infrastructure connectivity. Valid 's License is required. First Aid / AED / CPR Certification required within 30 days of assignment start. Worker / Employer is responsible for maintaining current certification. Must be able to pass a federal criminal background and drug screening.
