About the Role

The Company is in search of a Head of Information Security to join their team. This hands-on role is pivotal in the protection of the company's network and proprietary / sensitive information. The successful candidate will be responsible for the continuous improvement of the information and cyber security program, with a focus on both proactive and reactive capabilities. Key responsibilities include owning and maintaining the firm's information security, designing and operating a cyber risk management framework, leading the disaster recovery and business continuity program, and identifying and addressing vulnerabilities and threats across various environments. The role also involves the development and implementation of security controls and protocols, as well as the management of key security technology relationships.

Applicants for the Head of Information Security position at the company must have a deep background in information and cyber security, encompassing strategy, technical work, and program leadership. Experience with the security ecosystem of Azure and Microsoft 365 E5 is essential, as is hands-on experience with security data in a SIEM platform. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in building or operating a cyber risk management framework and be familiar with IT general controls and supporting audits. Preferred qualifications include advanced cyber security certifications and prior experience in a buy-side firm with a specific employee size. The role requires a professional who is comfortable working with regulators and internal / external counsel and is adept at managing key security technology relationships.
