Essential Duties and Responsibilities

People Management

Trains and develops team members by following the MOOYAH Training Program, cross training, pre-shift meetings, and required city / state / federal training (e.g., Food Safety, etc.).

Educates, communicates, and reinforces quality standards to all team members in the store

Operations Management

Ensures the restaurant is operating at the highest level of standards and is compliant with all state and federal government regulations

Demonstrates ability to execute every station, according to MOOYAH station standards and procedures.

Responsible for the execution of store systems, appropriate to shift management. Ensures the restaurant is accountable for successfully executing all quality control programs (i.e., Steritech, pre-shift checklist, etc.)

Maintains equipment for optimal performance

Financial Management

Supports management in all areas that impact the business including labor cost, waste monitoring, sales, and costs of goods

Education and Work Experience Requirements

Documented and demonstrated skills in managing a food service establishment (fast food, quick service, casual dining) for a minimum of 1 year

Minimum 1-2 years working in a restaurant, food service, or retail environment High School Diploma or GED required. Completing a Food Service Management or Culinary program may substitute for a portion of the time-based experience needed for this role.

Current Food Safety Manager Certification or ability to complete required certifications within 30 days of the start date

Ability to lead, motivate, and empower team members to higher levels of performance Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays when needed

Preferred Skills

Spanish / English Bilingual

Current Food Service Management Certification

Work Environment / Physical Demands

Regularly required to stand, walk, kneel, talk, & hear

Regularly required to lift and carry products / boxes up to 70 pounds

Consistently handles product preparation

Ability to work around loud noises and in fast-paced environments
