Shift Details : Night 3x12-Hour (19 : 00 - 07 : 30)

Weekly Schedule : 36 Hours

Certifications / License :

  • AWHONN Advanced, BLS, NRP (REQUIRED)
  • ACLS (PREFERRED)

Mandatory Experience :

  • RN Antepartum
  • Minimum experience required-2 years. Screen for less than 2 years or no experience with C-Sections. SCREEN IF INTERMEDIATE AWHONN ONLY For manager Approval
  • Float required to Postpartum unit.
  • High Risk Antepartum- 6 weeks to 41 weeks
  • PTL, previa, preeclampsia, diabetes, hypertension, prom, twins, substance use disorder in pregnancy.
  • Care of fetal demise or loss of patients both antepartum and postpartum, postpartum mother with baby in NICU, no newborns on this unit.
  • SKILLS :

    • Work Setting : - High Risk Antepartum

  • Antepartum Care and Procedures : Assist with sterile speculum exam (effacement, dilation, station, presentation)
  • IV Therapy / Phlebotomy : Maintain central lines (CVC / PICC)
  • Medication & Administration : Anticoagulants, Insulin drips, Magnesium Sulfate therapy
  • Labor and Delivery Management : Circulate for C-section
