Responsibilities

The Scrub Technician assists and scrubs on all surgery procedures directly related to the department utilizing all standards for quality and patient safety. Willingness to work in other areas of the Oklahoma Heart Hospital, as needed. Demonstrates knowledge and adhere to federal, and state regulations. Actively participates in the routine checks of clinical, electronic, and all other equipment used in the department within the scope of practice. Collaborates with leadership and all other team members in idea sharing, utilization of resources, as well as assists in the cross training of the staff when assigned. Assists leadership on projects aimed at achieving the hospital mission and incorporating the values of the hospital in day-to-day activities. Participates in and encourages teamwork to provide patient-focused car

Patient Care :

Qualifications

Education : Graduate of accredited Scrub technician program preferred.

Licensure / Certification : Current BLS required.

Experience : Minimum of one (1) year of continuous CV Surgery experience preferred .

Working Knowledge : Able to assist and scrub, at a proficient level, all procedures related to the department in both acute and stable patients.
