Talent & Growth Skills Intern, Spring 2026
The Talent & Growth Center of Excellence (COE) is responsible for knowing and growing talent at The Walt Disney Company. We are a business-driven, employee-centric team that uses data and storytelling to shape learning and talent strategies. The Skills Management team partners with teams across People & Culture (e.g., Talent Connections, People Insights, Workforce Technology, etc.), business leaders, and subject matter experts to build a future ready talent framework.
We are seeking a collaborative and adaptable Skills Management Intern to join the Skills Management team. We're on a journey to become a skills focused company to enhance our talent practices. By knowing the skills of our talent and our roles, we can better match talent to opportunities and make more strategic talent decisions. This opportunity is a full-time (40 hours per week), six-month commitment from January - June 2026.
What You Will Do :
Skills Taxonomy Development & Maintenance
- Partner with the Skills Management team and partners to build and refine a skills taxonomy
- Review skill profiles and manage the review process
Data Analysis & Reporting
Use HR Information Systems (HRIS), such as Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, and other systems to extract, analyze, and visualize skills dataCreate clear presentations that communicate skills trends and insights to inform decision-makingContent Development & Curation
Support the design and curation of learning content and resources to support socialization and buy-inHelp develop training and communication materials and resources to support skills-based talent initiatives and stakeholder engagementResearch & Innovation
Stay current with industry learning trends, technologies, and best practices in skills managementResearch emerging skills taxonomies and benchmarking data to inform organizational strategySupport the exploration of AI-powered skill inference tools and skills assessment solutionsRequired Skills & Qualifications :

Experience with HRIS platformsEducation :
Junior or Senior year preferredMajor or previous coursework in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, Industrial-Organizational Psychology, Business Administration, Learning & Development, Data Analytics, or a related fieldEligibility Requirements & Program Information :
Be enrolled in an accredited college / university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at time of application OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship.Current Disney Interns, College, International, or Culinary Program Participants : You may only work for ONE consecutive year (12 months) in any combination of an internship and / or program.Be at least 18 years of agePossess unrestricted work authorizationAdditional Information :
Fully available from Monday - Friday, during traditional business hours for the duration of the internship, 40 hours each weekAble to provide own housing and transportation in the Burbank, CA areaThe pay rate for this role in Burbank, CA is $22.50 per hour.
