Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and / or ability required. High School Diploma or GED; and a minimum of one year related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Working knowledge of retail grocery store bookkeeping is desirable, but not required for this position.

Reads and interprets documents such as safety rules, operating / maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Writes routine reports and correspondence. Communicates effectively and pleasantly with customers, vendors and fellow associates at all times.

Calculates figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, proportions, and percentages. Performs mathematical skills using units of American money and weight measurement.

Applies common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form. Deals with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

This position requires proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and other related software products. Knowledge of FMS software desired, but not required. Must be flexible, and able to manage and determine priority of work on a self-directed basis.

Physical Demands & Safety Expectations
