Supervisor – Dispatch & Scheduling

Location : Plainfield, IL

Compensation : $62,000–$65,000 / year (based on experience)

Employment Type : Full-Time

A well-established and growing service-based company is seeking an Supervisor – Dispatch & Scheduling to oversee high-volume dispatch operations and scheduling across both internal field teams and external vendor partners. This position plays a vital role in improving service delivery, operational efficiency, and team performance.

Responsibilities :

  • Supervise a dispatch team, including a team lead
  • Manage high-volume job scheduling for internal and third-party field crews
  • Utilize dispatching platforms to track, assign, and monitor job flow
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Establish and track dispatch performance metrics
  • Train and coach team members to ensure quality and efficiency
  • Collaborate with customer service, sales, and field operations
  • Analyze dispatch and call data to identify trends and suggest improvements
  • Participate in cross-functional projects and team meetings

Required Qualifications :

  • 2+ years of supervisory experience in dispatch, scheduling, or logistics operations
  • Experience managing high-volume scheduling and dispatch tasks
  • Prior experience coordinating vendors or subcontractors
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and scheduling or CRM software
  • Strong communication, time management, and leadership skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
