- The Analyst, Compensation is a member of the Global Compensation, Mobility, and People Support team within the People Division. This role supports the design, implementation, and administration of the company’s compensation programs. The Analyst takes a consultative approach to supporting business units, partnering closely with HR and operational leaders to provide strategic guidance, data-driven insights, and market-informed recommendations.
What you'll do
Serves as a trusted advisor to HR and business leaders on compensation matters, providing consultative support for hiring, promotions, organizational design, and compensation decisionsPerforms compensation analyses and job evaluations to support business decisions and maintain internal equity.Develops and delivers clear, data-driven compensation recommendations tailored to specific business contextsAssists with annual compensation processes, including merit planning, salary structure adjustments, and incentive plan administrationParticipates in salary surveys and uses market data to price jobs and benchmark compensation practices against the external market.Contributes to the development and refinement of pay structures and compensation modelsConducts develops and maintains job descriptions, and ensures alignment with internal structures and market benchmarksPrepares reports, dashboards, and ad hoc analyses to inform decision-making and track compensation trendsCreates one-page learning tools, presentation materials, and communications to explain compensation programs and updates to business audiencesParticipates in compensation-related system testing, process improvements, and policy developmentEnsures compliance with internal policies and external regulations related to compensationAbility to travel to represent the Company at airline industry conferences or to meet / work with Compensation and Human Resource counterparts, as neededAll you'll need for success
Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent experience / training3+ years of experience in Compensation, Finance, or similar analytical rolePrior experience managing multiple projects concurrently while providing strong customer servicePreferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
Experience presenting to leadershipFamiliarity with operational environments (e.g., airport, maintenance, flight operationsSkills, Licenses & Certifications
Knowledge of Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, etc.
Effective communicator with ability to translate data into actionable insights
Work experience in analytical role
Advanced Excel skills
