Complete Care - Spine & Orthopedics
Complete Care is seeking a full-time midlevel provider with a strong interest in interventional pain management , musculoskeletal medicine, and orthopedic injury care. This role is centered on diagnosing and treating pain through minimally invasive, procedure-focused approaches rather than medication-based pain management. You will work closely with interventional pain specialists, orthopedic surgeons, and extremity surgeons to support accurate diagnosis, educate patients, and guide them through their treatment plans.Core ResponsibilitiesPatient Assessment and Diagnosis
- Perform focused orthopedic and neurological examinations.
- Obtain medical histories and review prior records to understand the mechanism of injury.
- Order and interpret diagnostic studies such as X-rays, MRIs, and nerve conduction tests.
- Provide clear, supportive education about patient injuries to help build understanding and confidence throughout the recovery process.
Interventional Procedure Support
Recommend interventional pain management procedures based on individual patient needs. Procedures may include, but are not limited to, epidural steroid injections, medial branch blocks, radiofrequency ablation, peripheral nerve blocks, and joint injections.Assist physicians during procedures and help manage patient flow before and after interventions.Participate in follow-up care, assess response to treatment, and discuss next-step recommendations under physician supervision.Treatment Planning
Develop evidence-based care plans that may include physical therapy, home exercise programs, lifestyle recommendations, and ordering non-controlled medications when indicated.Coordinate with physical therapy, chiropractic, and imaging departments to support continuity of care.Documentation
Document all patient encounters accurately and promptly within the EMR.Our clinics use eClinicalWorks (eCW) for all charting, imaging integration, and communication.Patient Communication
Educate and counsel patients and families about treatment plans, interventional options, and wellness expectations.Collaboration
Work closely with orthopedic surgeons, interventional pain physicians, nurse practitioners, medical assistants, case managers, and imaging teams.Contribute to a team-based model that prioritizes accurate diagnosis and high-quality patient experience.Additional Duties & Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive history and physical exams.Review imaging reports and incorporate findings into clinical decision-making.Order appropriate diagnostic tests.Complete detailed reviews of records relevant to the patient's injuries.Deliver consistent, high-quality patient care under physician supervision.Qualifications & Requirements
Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.Current Florida license and national certification.Strong clinical judgment and problem-solving skills.Ability to follow HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality.Interest or experience in interventional pain management, orthopedics, or musculoskeletal medicine preferred (training provided).Benefits
