About the Role

An established manufacturing operation in North Vernon, IN is seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to support process improvement, equipment optimization, and capital equipment projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical foundation and experience in industrial manufacturing environmentsautomotive experience is a plus.

This position plays a key role in evaluating and enhancing manufacturing processes, supporting equipment installations, and maintaining process integrity across the facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in developing manufacturing equipment purchase proposals based on plans, requirements, and process evaluations.
• Support equipment cost projections through ROI, investment, and savings analysis.
• Oversee and advise on equipment installations.
• Assist in training equipment operators and provide ongoing technical support.
• Maintain and update manufacturing policies, procedures, methods, and guidelines.
• Manage equipment documentation and database records.
• Maintain confidentiality and ensure proper information handling.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
