This position reports to R&D Team Manager.

Your role and responsibilities :

In this role, you will have the opportunity to provide test engineering support during new product development, customer demonstrations, and validation and verification programs, for ABB Power Protection products. The work model for the role will be onsite in Richmond, VA. This role is contributing to the Electrification Smart Power division in North America. You will be mainly accountable for :

• Supporting new product development test programs and product lifecycle validation initiatives.
• Defining and executing system and subsystem level test plans.
• Analyzing test results and preparing test reports in partnership with research and technology teams.
• Moving, connecting, and installing units under test and executing electrical test programs.
• Subject matter expert in system level testing on complex / specialized projects, thinking independently to challenge traditional solutions.
