Heavy Equipment Operator

Join a leading sitework contractor specializing in asphalt, mass grading, concrete, and site utilities in the Charlotte area. We are seeking several skilled Heavy Equipment Operators for multiple job sites. Operators will be responsible for fine grading building pads using bulldozers and excavators, and performing various tasks on the construction site.

Responsibilities

• Operate bulldozers and excavators to fine grade building pads.
• Assist with road and curb crew tasks, including basic shovel work.
• Perform labor work when necessary, including tasks outside of operating machinery.
• Help out with other tasks as required to ensure project completion.

Work Environment

Work in an open-air construction environment where you will be exposed to the elements. Be prepared to work in both hot and cold conditions. Sites may vary from wide open spaces to road crews on vertical structures. Safety is a top priority in all working environments.

This is a Contract position based out of Charlotte, NC.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
