Vendor Program Manager

The Vendor Program Manager needs to be able to balance the development and deployment innovative programs that will generate excitement with design that allow for efficient operational execution and profitability for our company.

Vendormanagementsupportsthecurrenteffortsofoursalesteams,butitalsoservesasavitalsource forsalesgrowth through the analysis our portfolio and vendor program health.

Location : This position is assigned to our Naperville, IL office, but has the availability for remote work if outside of the Chicagoland area

Position requirements :

Previousworkexperienceinproduct / vendormanagement,salesorpurchasinginhorticulture

Professionalwritten / verbalcommunicationandinterpersonalskills,withtheabilitytolead, influence and empower others

Abilitytotravelandworkaflexibleschedule.-%travelestimated

Proficiency with MS Office products

Bachelor’sDegreeorequivalent preferred

Collaboratecreativelyacrosssalesmanagement,salesteam&vendorstofacilitatemarket- leading solutions

Demonstrate product and portfolio expertise assignedvendorsandprograms

Develop and cultivate relationshipswithassignedvendors

Developnewvendorsbaseduponnational®ionalneedsthatcreatesolutionsforthe McHutchison sales team and customers

Tasks :

Workwithsalesmanagementandsalesteamtodevelopandimplementgrowthstrategieswith key vendors and targeted programs

• Createtargetedmarketingcampaignstopromotenewsalesopportunities

Developmarketingsupporttoolsandtraining andcoordinatecommunicationsforsales initiatives

Advocateoperationexcellence effortswith assignedvendors to facilitate internal / external IT solutions or other work flow enhancers
