Medical Assistant Opportunity

Granger Medical Clinic has an immediate opening for a part-time Medical Assistant to work at our Draper Allergy clinic 2-3 days a week.

Overview

Candidate will administer allergy shots, help run the clinic and assist with prior authorizations for inhalers if they are needed. There will be hands-on training. Spanish-speaking preferred but not a requirement. This would be a perfect opportunity for a pre-med student.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

• High School Graduate or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Medical Assistant Certification preferred.
• 1 - 2 years of Medical Office experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills able to communicate courteously and effectively to patients.
• Must be dependable, flexible, and multi-task oriented.
• Enjoy working with people, being a team player and willing to help others with tasks.
• Must be able to read, communicate and write well in English.
• Must be able to communicate professionally both verbally and in writing with Physicians, clinic staff and patients.
• Additional languages helpful but not required.
