Tire Technician

About the role

The Tire Technician is responsible for overseeing all activity within the production / tire department. They ensure shop safety guidelines are followed with tire and wheel mount and balance tools and equipment .

What youll do

• Properly mount / balance new tires on rims per company specifications
• Break down and remove boxes / debris from workstation
• Keep workstations stocked with tire and wheel inventory and supplies
• Perform inspections of completed work to ensure completion and quality
• Follow safety procedures
• Ability to mount balance package tires and wheels

Qualifications

Physical Demands :

Standing Walking Reaching / Bending Endurance Balancing / Mobility Manual Dexterity Exposure to varying conditions Repetitive Motion Lifting to 50 lbs. consistently safety equipment loud noises : 8-hour work shift
