Mechanical Design Engineer Job Title : Mechanical Engineer Salary : $74,000 - $110,000 / yearLocation : Houston, TX Position Summary :

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our product development team. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, development, testing, and optimization of mechanical systems and components for climate technology products.

Key Responsibilities :

• Design and develop mechanical components and systems for climate tech products using CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks, Creo).
• Perform thermal, structural, and fluid dynamics analyses to ensure product performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with electrical, software, and manufacturing teams to integrate mechanical designs into complete systems.
• Create and maintain detailed engineering documentation including drawings, BOMs, and specifications.
• Conduct prototype testing, validation, and troubleshooting to refine product designs.
• Support manufacturing and supply chain teams with DFM (Design for Manufacturability) and DFA (Design for Assembly) principles.
• Evaluate new materials and technologies to improve product efficiency and sustainability.
