Job Description

Pay Rate : $65,000 to $80,000 per year.

Position Purpose :

This role supports the Procurement program activities within VNA’s Regulated Business Unit and serves as the initial point of contact for internal stakeholder and vendor support.

Primary Duties / Responsibilities :

• Provides customer service for regulated business unit with respect to purchasing transactions.Advises customers of order status when necessary.Provides one-on-one training as needed for users in the operations teams.
• Works independently reviewing purchase requisitions, selecting appropriate vendors, and coordinating with department management and requesters.
• Dispatches and transmits purchase orders to the vendors in the current version of ERP system.
• Performs Procurement program administration, troubleshooting and continuous improvement (e.g. Travel, Corporate Cards, etc.) as needed.
• Provides timely resolution of stakeholder questions using direct knowledge of the various purchasing programs or by connecting with the appropriate member of the Procurement team to obtain the answer.
• Updates Preferred Supplier Data in current version of the ERP system as needed.
• Resolves invoice discrepancies where necessary by working with the stakeholders and the appropriate departments (Accounts Payable mainly).
• Processes consolidated vendor invoices as needed.
• Assists in OPEX delivery with team as needed and obtains PRFs / approvals where needed.
• Supports development of procurement process documentation and training as needed.
• Actively contributes to driving continuous improvement within the Purchasing Operations team.
• Performs other related duties as required.
