Marine Engineer (Trainer)

We're looking for a Marine Engineer (Trainer) to support our Training Team working in our Chesapeake, VA office . The ideal candidate will be responsible for researching, planning, and developing training policies, curricula, courses and workshops, and instructional materials and delivering training instruction face-to-face and online for Military Sealift Command (MSC) personnel.

Responsibilities :

• Training Development (75%)

Research relevant subject matter for training policies, curricula, courses and workshops, and instructional materials

Conduct effective and efficient training courses and workshops using approved curricula, syllabi, lesson plans, and instructional materials, and best practices for adult learners

Minimum Required Qualifications :

Port Engineer or Marine Surveyor responsible for planning and managing preventive and corrective maintenance for commercial or public ocean-going ships; or

Desired Qualifications :

Planning and managing preventive and corrective maintenance on MSC ships utilizing SAMM and PENG
