Nashua Eye Associates, P.A. is currently looking for Full-time Ophthalmic Technicians to assist our busy practice. The Ophthalmic Technician assists the Ophthalmologists in preparing patients for their appointments by :
- Take medical / ocular histories and entering them into our EMR system
- Performing routine and diagnostic tests such as visual acuity, lensometry, refraction, VF testing and OCT imaging.
- Assist the doctors with patient examinations and treatment
- Refill prescriptions through an ERX system
- Respond promptly to messages from patients, other doctors, and pharmacists
- Maintain and clean exam rooms and equipment.
- Other responsibilities as needed
