Controls Engineer

Title : We are hiring for a junior and more mid to senior level Controls Engineers!

Location : Sterling Heights, MI

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Controls Engineer to design, develop, and implement control systems for our manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in optimizing automation and enhancing operational efficiency across our production lines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop control systems for automated machinery and processes.
  • Implement PLC programming to facilitate operation and troubleshooting.
  • Create and maintain CAD drawings for control systems and layouts.
  • Collaborate with robotics teams to integrate robotic solutions into manufacturing operations.
  • Conduct testing and validation of control systems to ensure compliance with specifications and safety standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to control systems and automation equipment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in automation and control systems design.
  • Proficiency in CAD software for design and documentation purposes.
  • Strong knowledge of PLC programming and configuration.
  • Familiarity with robotics technology and applications.
