Accounting Manager
We are looking for an accomplished Accounting Manager to lead the financial operations of our manufacturing company in Denver, Colorado. This role involves managing the complete accounting cycle, including payroll, accounts payable and receivable, month-end close, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will play a key role in budgeting, forecasting, and providing critical financial insights to support strategic business decisions.
Responsibilities :
- Oversee the full range of accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
- Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with company standards.
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes to ensure timely financial reporting.
- Maintain and enhance internal controls to protect company assets and ensure financial accuracy.
- Collaborate on the development of budgets and forecasts to guide strategic planning.
- Conduct financial analysis to provide actionable insights for management decision-making.
- Coordinate with external auditors and tax professionals to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Ensure adherence to all federal, state, and local financial regulations.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in accounting practices.
This role is 100% in office and will report to the President of the company.
Requirements :
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field is strongly preferred.A minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in manufacturing or a similar industry.Strong understanding of cost accounting principles and general accounting practices.Proficiency in accounting software such as NetSuite, or similar platforms, as well as advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail.Excellent communication and organizational abilities.Experience with month-end close, general ledger management, and financial statement preparation.
