Aviation Construction Inspector

The Opportunity

RS&H is currently seeking a senior-level resident project representative (RPR) field rep to join our team in the Boise, Idaho area.

This position will work outside on an active construction site. As part of the construction management team, you'll serve an integral role in the firm by performing complex tests and observing and recording technical work for large, complex projects; monitoring the accuracy of dimensions and observing in-progress construction to ensure that workmanship and materials comply to specifications; leading others in recording quantities of materials received or used; maintaining daily reports of construction and inspection activities and comparing progress reports; computing monthly estimates of work completed; documenting construction installations that deviate from plans and reports changes for review by senior personnel; playing a key role in analyzing and reviewing inspection findings to determine sources of problems and recommending repair, replacement, or other corrective actions; and providing direction, guidance, and mentorship to junior field reps.

To be successful in this role, you must :

• Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Have 7+ years relevant experience or a NICET Level III certification.
• Have a valid driver's license, be insurable, and be able to safely operate a vehicle on the highway and on construction sites.
• Have a passion for working outside and a tolerance for exposure to the elements.
• Have proven experience leading and / or guiding the work of others.
• Possess solid organizational, problem-solving, prioritization, and communication skills.
• Have the ability to effectively interact with and build relationships with others.
