Job Summary

The Program Manager is responsible for the Business Administrative Systems (BAS) portfoliomanaging projects directly and overseeing the staff of BAS project managers. This role requires deep knowledge of PeopleSoft, MyTime, and other Human Resources systems and healthcare business systems applications, along with the capability to manage multiple highly complex technology projects simultaneously.

This position requires strong leadership skills, high emotional intelligence (EQ), and a process-oriented mindset capable of influencing senior leadership and engaging with diverse project teams. PeopleSoft or Workday systems implementation experience is required.

This position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule and is not eligible for H1B sponsorship. Candidates must reside in the Dallas / Fort Worth Metroplex or be willing to relocate.

Experience and Education

Required

  • Education : Bachelor's Degree
  • Experience :

    • 7 years managing medium-sized IT-related projects

  • 10 years working within a technology project team
  • Equivalent related experience may be used in lieu of degree

    • Preferred

  • Education : Master's Degree
  • Licensures and Certifications : PMP Certification

    • Job Duties

  • Manage multiple related projects within the project portfolio or assigned areas aligned with strategic business objectives
  • Supervise constituent Project Managers to monitor cost, schedules, and strategic alignment
  • Liaise with stakeholders and manage customer relationships; set and manage expectations with team members and key stakeholders
  • Delegate tasks and responsibilities appropriately; identify and resolve issues within project teams
  • Oversee project quality and status for all assigned projects
  • Estimate resources and participants needed to achieve project goals; draft and submit budget proposals and recommend changes as needed
  • Collaborate with department managers to obtain required personnel; assess staffing needs and recruit as necessary
  • Determine frequency and content of status reports; analyze results and troubleshoot problem areas
  • Proactively manage changes in project scope and develop contingency plans
  • Develop and cultivate business relationships vital to project success
  • Develop best practices and tools for execution and management of multi-armed and related projects
  • May supervise staff in performance of duties
  • Perform other duties as assigned
