What You’ll Do
As a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant, you’ll play an essential role in helping patients regain independence and improve their quality of life—all while enjoying the personal connection and autonomy that make home health so fulfilling.
You will :
Carry out individualized care plans developed by the Occupational Therapist.
Provide one-on-one treatment, assess progress, and adapt exercises to fit patient needs.
Educate and empower patients and caregivers for continued success between visits.
Communicate closely with OTs, nurses, and physicians to ensure seamless, coordinated care.
Document care accurately and maintain compliance with all regulations.
Help patients stay safely at home and avoid unnecessary hospital visits through proactive, compassionate care.
What You Bring
Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
Current, unrestricted COTA license in the state of practice.
Minimum one (1) year of experience in a clinical care setting preferred.
Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and current auto insurance.
Ability to travel within assigned area (Ann Arbor to Canton).
Physical ability to assist with transfers and mobility (lifting up to 50–100 lbs).
