We are representing a well-established public accounting firm that has been serving clients across multiple industries for nearly a century. This firm is known for its strong client relationships, collaborative culture, and commitment to developing and promoting talent from within. With continued growth and expansion across Alabama, they are seeking an experienced Tax Manager to join their team.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage and review tax engagements with a focus on S-Corps, partnerships, and individual returns across diverse industries.
  • Supervise, train, and mentor a team of associates and seniors, providing guidance and feedback to support their development.
  • Handle billing responsibilities and contribute to business development efforts.
  • Collaborate closely with leadership and colleagues across the firm, contributing ideas and helping to shape processes.
  • Participate in firmwide meetings, offering input on strategy and problem-solving initiatives.

What We’re Looking For

  • CPA designation required
  • 1–3+ years of experience as a Tax Manager, ideally within a regional public accounting firm.
  • Strong background in partnerships and S-Corps.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage staff and foster a collaborative team environment.
  • Commitment to building a long-term career within a firm that values independence, client service, and professional growth.
