Procurement Specialist, Senior

Position Description :

CGI Federal has an exciting opportunity for a Procurement Specialist within our Intel sector advancing the national security mission through cutting edge technology. You must have a passion for keeping pace with rapidly evolving technology advancements and leveraging your knowledge on a highly collaborative team to deliver state-of-the-art capabilities.

The Procurement Specialist identifies organizational needs researches and selects vendors negotiates contracts for products and services and manages supplier relationships to ensure quality cost-effectiveness and compliance. Key responsibilities include conducting market tenders analyzing bids and monitoring supplier performance to achieve strategic goals and maintain a competitive edge for the company.

This position is located in USA VA Arlington however a hybrid working model is acceptable.

Your future duties and responsibilities :

• .Supplier Management : Researching evaluating and selecting suppliers to meet quality cost and compliance standards.
• .Contract Negotiation : Securing favorable pricing terms and conditions through contract negotiations with suppliers.
• .Cost Analysis : Analyzing market trends and costs to ensure purchases are made at the best possible value.
• .Bid Evaluation : Assessing vendor bids and proposals to determine suppliers that meet budget and performance criteria.
• .Compliance : Ensuring all procurement activities adhere to company policies legal regulations and industry standards.
• .Inventory Control : Overseeing the inventory of materials and goods to ensure availability and manage stock levels.
• .Performance Monitoring : Tracking supplier performance to ensure they meet contractual obligations delivery schedules and quality specifications.
