Location : 13555 N Stemmons Freeway Dallas TX 75234 (3 days / week onsite)

Duration : 4 Months contract (possible extension)

General Function :

The Sr. Accountant Lease plays a key role in lease accounting activities for EssilorLuxottica North America, with a primary focus on variable sales-based rent, IFRS16 lease valuations, and related general ledger functions. This position requires expertise in high-volume corporate environments, advanced Excel skills, and strong critical thinking abilities to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in accounting operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform lease-based accounting activities including accruals / deferrals, lease valuations, and sales-based rent calculations.
• Execute accurate and timely month-end close processes (journal entries, variance analysis, approvals).
• Prepare and review balance sheet account reconciliations, resolving reconciling items promptly.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS accounting standards and internal control requirements.
• Collaborate with internal and external auditors for audits and quarterly / annual reviews.
• Partner with accounting teams across North America and globally.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.
• Support special projects and ad hoc assignments as needed.
