SpecialtyRx takes pride in delivering personalized care and quality pharmacy services. NOTICE : SpecialtyRx is seeking Licensed Pharmacist located in the surrounding areas of Grand Prairie, TX. Address : 1525 Greenview Dr, Grand Prairie, TX 75050 Responsibilities Evaluate medication orders for appropriateness of drug, dosage, potential interactions, and proper administrationEnsure that dispense medicines are correctly supplied and labeledMake recommendation for therapy changes to the physician and client facilities staff, if necessaryMaintain customers database to include medical history, clinical, laboratory data, etc.Investigate and resolve medication-related queriesCommunicate with facilities nursing staff, physicians, and other healthcare team members regarding medication-related querySupervise the preparation of any medicinesMaintain register of controlled drugs for legal and stock control purposesMaintain proper security conditions for medicationsPerform on-call duties when required Qualifications Licensed Pharmacist in the State of TexasLong Term Care experience preferredPrevious experience in Hospital and Retail pharmacy or other medical fieldsStrong analytical and critical thinking skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong attention to detailStrong organizational skillsComputer skillsFramework / ECM software knowledge a plus Company Benefits Health insuranceDental insuranceVision insurance401K Retirement PlanPaid Time OffEmployee Assistance Program EEO Statement, SpecialtyRx, Inc. is fully committed to employing a diverse workforce.
