Tasks and Qualifications :

Lead projects in AMCS region, report to Senior Director, and drive project success with a team.

  • Manage the execution of a portfolio of projects within the assigned sub-region, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Lead and develop a team of project management professionals, providing coaching, mentoring, and performance management.
  • Establish and nurture positive relationships with key internal collaborators within the assigned sub-region.
  • Implement and enforce project management methodologies and standards within the assigned sub-region.
  • Support the Senior Director in managing project budgets and forecasts.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, contributing to the development and implementation of risk mitigation plans.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of project management processes and standards.
  • Serve as a key partner to the Commercial team, supporting their efforts to secure new business and grow existing accounts within the assigned sub-region.
  • Experience Desired

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in project management.
  • 5+ years of experience in a leadership role, managing a team of project professionals.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
  • Strong team building and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team of project professionals.
  • Strong communication abilities.
  • Ability to develop detailed project schedules inclusive of all in-scope engineering, manufacturing, installation, and integration schedule activities.
  • Experience with personnel planning, budgeting / forecasting, project planning, document control, materials management, and contract management.
  • Experience in using project management software and tools, such as MS Project, Smartsheet, and SAP.
  • Knowledge of the material handling industry is a plus.
  • Education & Certifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Project Management, Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration) or equivalent experience.
  • Master's degree or equivalent experience in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field is preferred.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is highly preferred.
  • Additional certifications in project management methodologies are a plus.
  • Direction and Key Working Relationships

  • Operates under the direction of the Senior Director of Project Management.
  • Key internal collaborators include : Senior Director of Project Management, Engineering, Installation, Commercial teams (within the assigned sub-region).
  • Collaborators include : Customers, strategic partners (within the assigned sub-region).
  • Travel : Up to 30% travel may be required to support project execution and team development within the assigned sub-region.
