Compensation :

  • You will earn between $50,000–$100,000 per year , depending on experience

    ABOUT THIS ROLE :

    As our Master Mechanic, you diagnose and repair complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and drivetrain systems daily, often solving tough issues. You perform precision TIG / MIG welding and fabrication for unique custom projects, transforming raw metal into robust components for suspension, body, and chassis systems. You diagnose and rebuild both carbureted and fuel-injected engines (gas and diesel), and troubleshoot 4x4 drivetrain components with confidence. As a resource for the team, you mentor Level I and II technicians and interpret complex schematics to guide your work. You communicate with customers for estimates and updates, support shop operations, and ensure your workspace remains clean, safe, and organized.

    WHAT WE NEED FROM A MASTER MECHANIC :

  • 7+ years of experience as a mechanic / fabricator in a custom or performance shop environment
  • Master-level skill in fabrication, welding, and custom installation
  • A valid driver's license with an insurable record
  • A deep understanding of drivetrain, electrical, and suspension systems
  • A professional attitude and excellent communication skills
  • Comfortable working in a variety of shop conditions (heat, cold, noise)
  • Ability to lead by example, manage projects, and mentor junior team members
  • Ability to lift, maneuver, and position heavy components (with or without assistance)
  • Ability to work occasional weekends or evening shifts
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
  • Possesses professional-grade hand tools and equipment appropriate for this level, sturdy work boots, and eye protection for fabrication, grinding, welding, and similar tasks
