Position : Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
Job Description : We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our dynamic team. As a BCBA, you will play a pivotal role in conducting assessments, developing behavior intervention plans, and implementing evidence-based strategies to address challenging behaviors and promote skill acquisition. You will collaborate closely with individuals, families, and a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest quality of care and positive outcomes for clients.
Responsibilities :
- Conduct comprehensive assessments, functional behavior assessments (FBA), and functional analyses (FA) to determine the function and underlying causes of challenging behaviors.
- Develop individualized behavior intervention plans (BIP) based on the results of assessments and functional analyses, utilizing evidence-based strategies.
- Implement behavior intervention plans with fidelity and monitor progress regularly.
- Provide ongoing supervision, training, and support to behavior technicians and other team members involved in implementing behavior intervention plans.
- Collect and analyze data to evaluate the effectiveness of behavior interventions and make necessary adjustments to optimize outcomes.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure a holistic and coordinated approach to treatment.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of assessment findings, behavior intervention plans, progress reports, and other relevant records.
- Stay current with the latest research, developments, and best practices in the field of applied behavior analysis (ABA) and behavior management.
Qualifications :
Possess a valid certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).Master's degree or higher in behavior analysis, psychology, special education, or a related field.Strong knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles and techniques.Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with clients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.Proven ability to train and supervise behavior technicians and effectively communicate behavioral strategies.Highly organized with exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities.Ability to work independently and effectively manage time and caseload.
