    • Emergency Room RN Qualifications

  • Active WA or Compact Registered Nurse license (required at time of submission)
  • Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Room RN experience (2 years preferred)
  • Previous travel nursing experience required
  • Proficiency with Epic charting system
  • Certifications : ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, NRP (preferred)
  • Strong clinical skills and ability to work independently in a rural emergency department
  • References : Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last three years

    • ER RN Responsibilities

  • Provide compassionate, efficient emergency care to patients of all ages : adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, geriatrics
  • Perform triage, assessment, and management of acute medical and trauma conditions
  • Administer emergency medications and interventions, including IVs, intubation, chest tube management, and procedural sedation
  • Interpret ABGs and dysrhythmias; manage ventilated patients and those with multisystem organ dysfunction
  • Respond to psychiatric emergencies, drug overdoses, and behavioral health crises
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Radiology, Pharmacy, and Social Services
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation using Epic
  • Participate in self-scheduling and maintain flexibility to meet unit needs
