This Value Stream Leader will lead a system in package (SiP) micro-electronics product line and have profit and loss responsibility for customer facing programs both internally and externally funded. The program manager (PM) will also lead and organize pursuit and proposal efforts to capture internal programs and new external programs. The PM will interface with a cross functional team of other PMs business development strategy and engineering personnel to create and maintain technology development roadmaps and transition plans for new technologies and capabilities to business units across Mission Systems and RTX.

What You Will Do

Lead and manage internal and external program efforts & internally funded technology efforts simultaneously

Manage internal product sustainment budgets and bid and proposal budgets

Lead cross functional teams across local and at times remote locations and time zones

Direct and lead the business strategy and vision for the Microelectronics Critical Technology Area (CTA) coordinating technical efforts across other Level 5 PMs in adjacent technology areas

Defining and recommending the prioritization of externally funded pursuits and IRAD funded efforts working collaboratively with Business Development (BD) and Engineering

Direct engagement in associated strategy vision and program execution (as required by the organization) for related Critical Technology Areas : Advanced Packaging Secure Micro-electronics system integrity

Lead and be accountable for Pursuit Order Capture activities as part of growing the business leveraging business development and engineering partners

Accountable for the initial completion and annual operating plan updates of key organizational activities such as Strategic Segment Workshops with the Strategy team and Road-mapping activities with the Roadmap subject matter expert for associated Critical Technology Areas

Interface with customers (e.g. internal external Prime Contractors research laboratories etc.) during program execution

Responsible for meeting contractual commitments including financial technical and schedule performance of assigned programs

Actively involved with Strategic Financial Planning and Annual Operating Plan processes for associated Critical Technology Areas

Perform regular program EACs PMRs and IRAD reviews with an ability to brief senior leadership

Willing to travel up to 20% of the time

Qualifications You Must Have

Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience

Have advanced or expert knowledge with a number of products and systems in the following areas : secure design assembly advanced packaging and test capabilities; full lifecycle confidentiality and integrity

Have experience with EVMS program management and R&O management

What We Prefer

Possess or have the ability to possess a clearance up to the TS / SCI level. Preferred SAP-eligible in key technology areas

Demonstrated success in a high paced environment driving resolution to problems quickly and methodically working across different internal program teams within RTX and ability to increase and maintain team cohesion

Ability to communicate with senior executive leadership regarding matters of strategic importance to the organization

Ability to deal with problems and issues that are complex and multi-dimensional requiring a broad-based consideration of variables that impact multiple areas of the organization

Work with cross-functional teams to establish solutions that are cutting-edge and achieved through collaboration and dialog with other experts in the field

Establish and implement critical functional strategies and operational plans for areas of responsibility

Have demonstrated ability to recognize pursue and capture discretionary offset opportunities (i.e. customer funded R&D) that directly supports business strategies via direct government support or through other contractors

Comfortable interfacing and communicating throughout the organization across different disciplines as well as with different levels of leadership

Have experience with leveraging efforts and technologies from other Collins Aerospace organizations

The salary range for this role is 124000 USD - 250000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role function and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience location education / training and key skills.
