Leica Biosystems is a global leader in cancer diagnostics committed to advancing diagnostic confidence and improving lives. The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will provide strategic direction for Leica Biosystems and lead the global Finance and Information Technology (IT) functions. As a key member of the Operating Company leadership team the CFO will help define and execute the overall business strategy ensuring alignment with long-term growth and operational goals.

This executive will be responsible for financial planning accounting statutory compliance and reporting as well as overseeing the deployment and optimization of IT tools and resources across the organization. The CFO will serve as a critical business partner to the President with a primary focus on enabling and accelerating profitable growth.

The ideal candidate will bring deep experience in financial oversight across diverse global business areas including commercial operations manufacturing and supply chain product development and R&D and corporate reporting. They must be adept at leading within the Danaher Business System (DBS) driving process improvements across geographies and functions.

Additionally the CFO will be expected to evaluate and evolve the global Finance and IT functions to ensure they operate efficiently cost-competitively and with the highest standards of integrity and service quality. A key priority will be strengthening organizational capability by attracting developing and retaining top talent across both functions fostering a culture of excellence accountability and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership

Partner with the President and L1 team to define and execute the companys strategic direction.

Oversee global financial planning reporting compliance and statutory requirements.

Drive process improvements and margin expansion using DBS tools and methodologies.

Build and develop a high-performing global Finance & IT organization.

Support M&A activities including financial diligence integration planning and ROI analysis.

Salary Range

The salary range for this role is $217200.00 to $325000.00. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus / incentive pay.
