Position Key Details :
Title : Certified Medical Assistant (Level 1)Pay : $23.00 - $25.00 per hour DOEBilingual Pay Policy : We also have a Bilingual Pay Policy! If you pass the language proficiency test, you are eligible to receive a $1.25 per hour increase.Schedule : Full-time; Monday – Friday; variable shifts between 8 am – 8 pmEvening shift differential for hours worked between 6 pm and 8 pm (1.5x base pay rate)

With a keen eye for detail and a knack for problem-solving, you’re a critical thinker and a tech-savvy multitasker. Your mission is to ensure patients receive the best care possible.
Additional qualifications include :
Certification as a Medical Assistant from a nationally recognized program (or on your way to getting it within 3 months of hire)Current BLS certificationSuperb organizational skills (you're the multitasking champ!)Exceptional interpersonal skills (you make friends with everyone, even your morning coffee)Detail-oriented (you can spot a missing puzzle piece from a mile away)A knack for critical thinking and problem-solving (you're like a medical detective)Strong computer skills (Excel, Word, and Outlook hold no secrets)Pass that pre-employment background check like a proBonus Points :
Fluent in Spanish (¡Hablas español? ¡Perfecto!) (preferred but not required)Experience in a primary care medical setting (you've seen it all)A heart for helping clients with barriers to healthcare (you're a real-life superhero)Familiarity with OCHIN Epic (you've got the tech know-how)HIPAA? You know the ropes!Your Role : As a Medical Assistant, you'll be part of a tight-knit clinical team, ensuring our patients get the best care possible. Your patient care duties will include :
Managing the full patient experience, both in our clinic and on our awesome mobile unitDocumenting patient history and vitals in the EMR like a proProviding follow-up instructions and assisting with referralsSupporting our rockstar providers during exams and proceduresBeing the lab specimen hero, collecting and delivering with precisionNailing those CLIA-waived diagnostic tests and documenting resultsGiving basic first aid under the healthcare provider's guidanceHelping with immunizations, injections, medication administration, and blood drawsKeeping tabs on client prescriptions and making sure they get what they needScheduling those crucial follow-up appointmentsKeeping patient files in the EMR shipshapeAnd as a Care Team Member You Will :
