Position Overview

Clean Harbors is seeking a Truck-to-Truck Technician to support efficient, on-site logistics operations with a focus on cross-dockinga streamlined supply chain method that reduces storage time and accelerates delivery. This hands-on role plays a key part in moving equipment and materials quickly and safely between inbound and outbound docks, helping reduce warehousing costs and improve turnaround times.

Pay : $21.00 an hour

Hours : 10 : 00 AM - 8 : 30 PM

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate yard vehicles to transfer bins, vans, trailers, and tanker trucks throughout the facility.
• Support cross-docking operations by positioning inbound and outbound equipment at designated docks to ensure quick unloading and reloading with minimal storage.
• Ensure wheel chocks and jack stands are properly placed and functioning before transport.
• Review MSDS or manifests when handling new hazardous materials.
• Respond to and clean up spills following proper safety protocols.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections, including brakes, fuel levels, tire pressure, lights, and fluid systems.
• Accurately placard and stage equipment in compliance with permitted storage requirements.
• Maneuver vehicles safely in tight or high-traffic yard environments while observing posted speed limits and all site-driving rules.
