About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Manufacturing Operations to lead and drive global manufacturing across hardgoods and softgoods. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring operational excellence, quality, and scalability, and will oversee all aspects of plant performance, production planning, facility integration, and regional supply chain coordination. This role demands a leader with a deep manufacturing background in both hardgoods and softgoods, a proven track record in M&A and divestiture environments, and experience in facility integration. The VP will be accountable for developing and executing global manufacturing strategies, driving lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement initiatives, and managing global facility integration during mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures. Applicants for the Vice President of Manufacturing Operations position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with an MBA preferred, and at least 10 years of progressive leadership experience in global supply chain, manufacturing, and planning. The role requires a candidate with a strong quality management background, exceptional leadership and communication skills, and the ability to lead through ambiguity in a fast-paced environment. Experience in global manufacturing with multi-site operations, expertise in lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies, and the ability to operate effectively in a matrix organization are essential. The VP will also be expected to foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement, and to lead transformation initiatives across supply chain functions. Bilingual Spanish proficiency is a plus.
