  • Job Description :

We are seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our behavioral health team. Provide essential care and support to individuals with intellectual disabilities and complex medical needs.

  • Key Responsibilities :
  • Deliver nursing care under RN supervision.
  • Perform tasks such as gastrostomy tubes, enteral feedings, and tracheostomies.
  • Support infection control and quality assurance.
  • Train and support new LVNs.
  • Communicate with healthcare team and residents.
  • Requirements :
  • Active Texas LPN / LVN License.
  • 2+ years of nursing experience; 1+ year in intellectual disabilities care.
  • Proficient in advanced nursing skills.
  • AHA BLS certification.
  • Meet HHSC immunization, drug testing, and fingerprinting standards.
  • COVID
  • 19 vaccination required.
  • Schedule :
  • 40 hours / week, 6 am
  • 2 pm.
  • 3 weekends / month.
  • 5 x 8
  • hour shifts, with potential unit floating.
  • Contract Details :
  • week minimum.
