Physical Therapist - Inpatient

Position Summary :

Provides direct patient care to adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations, with pediatric care required for some specialty positions. This position uses a variety of physical therapy techniques to restore individuals to maximum functional ability, independence, participation, and freedom from pain. Performs related duties as assigned.

Full time position rotating through different areas of inpatient care including general med / surg, cardiac, ortho, neuro, oncology, and ICU. Interest or experience in acute care management of vertigo or lymphedema welcomed. Optional rotations may also available in one or more of the following specialty areas : outpatient neuro, wound care, and / or outpatient ortho, if interested. Previous work experience in acute care setting strongly preferred.

Work Schedule :

Monday through Friday, 8 hour shifts. Every 4th weekend (with days off when worked) and one holiday per year.

Required Qualifications :

• Education, Experience or Equivalent Combination : Doctorate, master’s, or bachelor’s degree in physical therapy
• Licensure / Registration / Certification : Licensed with the Minnesota Board of Physical Therapy
