We are seeking an accomplished Senior RF Design Engineer to lead the design, development, and validation of advanced RF circuits, modules, and systems across all phases of the product lifecycle. This role requires expertise in board-level schematic design, PCB layout, system-level communications concepts, and end-to-end RF product development. The successful candidate will contribute to cutting-edge phased array communication systems and play a key role in driving innovation in aerospace and defense electronics. Key Responsibilities Design and develop RF circuits, modules, and systems, including RF front ends, frequency converters, synthesizers, filters, beamformers, power dividers, and phased array antennas. Perform schematic capture, PCB layout, and design validation using industry-standard EDA tools. Conduct system-level analyses such as link budgets, modulation schemes, and RF performance modeling. Lead engineering design reviews, presenting technical findings and solutions to customers, executives, and stakeholders. Perform hands-on RF testing and validation using lab instruments including VNAs, spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, and signal generators. Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams on aerospace electronics development, system integration, and product qualification. Author technical documentation, design review materials, and proposals to support business development. Support reliability engineering tasks such as worst-case circuit analysis, FMECA, and EMI / EMC design mitigation. Required Qualifications Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university (MS preferred). Minimum of 9 years of industry experience in RF electronics design and analysis. Expert-level proficiency in simulation tools such as CST and ADS. Hands-on experience with EDA tools (e.g., Altium) for schematic design and PCB layout. Extensive lab experience with RF test and measurement instruments. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with proven ability to present to technical and executive audiences. Preferred Qualifications Master of Science (MS) in Electrical Engineering or related field. Experience with aerospace electronics design, development, and qualification processes. Proficiency in Python or other programming languages for automation and data analysis. Background in antenna design, phased array development, and RF system integration. Knowledge of EMI / EMC mitigation techniques and compliance standards. Familiarity with reliability engineering practices including WCCA and FMECA.
