Security Training Instructor Per Diem

Overview

Provide AVADE Program instruction to Dartmouth Health staff as part of the Workplace Violence Prevention program. Also assists the Program Training Leader in delivering security specific training to Security staff.

Responsibilities

• Works closely with other instructors and Program / Training Leader to organize and conduct training.
• Maintain paperwork for each class being held by instructor to be turned over to Program / Training Leader.
• Work with staff on a regular basis to answer questions and refresh techniques as necessary.
• Works with the Program / Training Leader to provide Security specific training to Security staff to include but not limited to handcuffing Taser and OC gel.
• Actively participate in after class briefings to continually develop the efficiency of the training program.
• Presents on safety and security related topics to Dartmouth Health System staff when requested.
• Attend occasional meeting either in person or virtually.
• Performs other duties as required or assigned.
