Assistant Warehouse Manager
The assistant warehouse manager will increase company profitability and customer satisfaction by assisting warehouse manager with overseeing warehouse operations in a safe, secure, efficient and cost-effective manner that complies with company policy and OSHA, DOT and other applicable regulations.
Job Duties
- Provide leadership and direction to employees daily
- Participate in performance evaluations
- Coordinate with supervisors to cover all personnel needs daily
- Provide efficient and productive communication between departments
- Ensure and assist in the process that all orders are being expedited in a timely and accurate manner
- Supervise that all DOT paperwork is completed daily and accurately
- Propose personnel and equipment needs
- Monitor safety and procedures within the warehouse setting
- Take on the responsibilities for inventory accuracy
- Follow company policies and procedures
- Other duties or responsibilities assigned by the warehouse manager
