Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Chief Clinical Dietitian to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in nutrition and dietetics, with a focus on providing comprehensive dietary assessments and interventions for patients across various settings, including long-term care and geriatrics. This role is essential in promoting optimal health outcomes through tailored nutrition plans and health coaching.
Responsibilities
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations to assess patients' nutritional needs and dietary habits.
- Develop and implement individualized nutrition care plans, including tube feeding protocols when necessary.
- Provide health coaching to patients, guiding them towards healthier lifestyle choices and weight loss goals.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care for patients, particularly in long-term care settings.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust dietary plans as needed based on physiological changes or feedback.
- Educate patients and their families about nutrition, dietary restrictions, and meal planning.
- Stay updated on the latest research in dietetics and apply evidence-based practices in clinical settings.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential is required.Strong knowledge of physiology and its relation to nutrition.Experience working with geriatric populations is highly desirable.Familiarity with various dietary systems and interventions, including weight management strategies.Excellent communication skills for effective patient education and collaboration with healthcare teams.Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.Join us in making a difference in the lives of our patients through expert nutritional guidance and compassionate care.
