Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist with at least 2 years of recent adult acute care experience and ARMRIT or ARRT MR certification.

Responsibilities

  • Work in an adult acute care setting with coverage across ICU, outpatient, and ER / trauma departments
  • Typical schedule is 1 twelve-hour shift and 3 eight-hour shifts weekly, totaling 36 hours over 4 days
  • Flex scheduling allows for weekday adjustments up to a month in advance, with advance notice provided
  • Every other weekend rotation is required
  • No call and no floating required
  • Patient ratio is 1 technologist per 2 patients
  • Uses EPIC EMR; experience required
  • Team members are notified monthly of their schedules, with ample communication for any staffing changes
  • First-time travelers are not accepted for this role
  • Must provide full work history with explained gaps for consideration
  • Cannot use charge RN references for consideration
  • Work involves collaboration with multidisciplinary teams in a high-acuity environment

    • Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of recent MRI technologist experience in adult acute care settings
  • Certification required : ARMRIT or ARRT MR and BLS
  • EPIC EMR experience is required
  • Flu shot required with no exemptions allowed, if applicable and in season
  • 2 professional references from a manager or supervisor within the last 2 years are required for consideration
  • Previous employment at any client facility within the last 12 months is not permitted
  • License required if applicable
