job_description.job_card.job_descriptionPrepare and position patients accurately to capture cross-sectional images of the body. Conduct pre-screening and educate patients about the MRI procedures. Efficiently enter, monitor, and transfer patient data and images. Administer contrast media and medications following state and federal guidelines. Ensure high-quality image submission and equipment functionality. Maintain a clean and organized work area in the MRI department. Stay alert and vigilant to ensure patient safety during procedures. Perform additional duties as required to support the team. Completion of an MRI or Radiology Technology program. ARRT-R credential required, and ARRT-MR or ARMRIT certification must be obtained within 12 months of hire. No prior experience is necessary; new graduates are welcome to apply. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Frequent lifting or moving patients and objects weighing up to 50 lbs. Use of vision, hearing, and communication to ensure patient safety and quality imaging.
