Developer

OVERVIEW :

Working as Full-time Developer, you will be part of our research and development team innovating and developing the next-gen capabilities to help the business become more efficient. This position may offer a flexible schedule after a period of onboarding, training, and meeting performance goals.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to :

o Designing, developing, modifying, and testing relevant applications

o Analyzing functional specifications and providing technical requirements

o Applying best-practice security principles to enterprise software applications

o Suggesting changes to the team process to bring about improvements in the team's ability to deliver

o Testing and reviewing the work of other developers on the team

o Acting as a liaison with Business Analysts to ensure capabilities are aligned with business requirements

o Acting as a liaison with the QA team to develop testing approaches

REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS :

The skills and qualifications required for this position include :

o Possess or are working towards a bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering or other related field of study OR possess 2 years of relevant work experience

o Excellent written and oral communication skills

o Demonstrate strong organization, planning and prioritizing abilities

o Exhibit strong problem solving, deductive reasoning and decision making skills

o Highly motivated, self directed and customer service oriented

o Work independently as well as in a team environment

o Learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environment

o Demonstrate strong math aptitude, attention to detail and sense of urgency

o Pass the required drug screen and background check (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico and Guam ONLY)

PREFERRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS :

o Development experience with Java including OOD, design patterns, data modeling, session management, serialization, persistence, XML, JSON, RESTful Web Services, Microservices and other related Java EE technologies

o Understand AI model concepts

o Experience with cloud services like Azure

o Experience in embedded firmware development in IoT will be a plus

o Motivation to learn new technologies and have an innovation mindset
